Report on BBC Out of Doors radio programme, about 9 minutes 50 seconds in
30 July
Asha was on the nest at darkness last night and again at dawn, she flew off:
Where's Mummy going?
And back:
A little leap from 1C1
FISH !!! !!! !!! And it's a good one! But the actual delivery view was unsalvageable:
There was more feeding, Asha did some flyabouts with the fish, last seen here - see her crop, she's eaten well:
Another helicopter, with crop-dropping and head-darting:
Oops, I forgot to add on the clip of a flyer-by a few minutes after the helicopter - both the chicks lay down but no parent arrived.
I think that bird must have still been around at fish delivery time, our birds were wary for quite a while but it came to nothing:
19.46 fish.
