26 July
Last evening Asha spent about 2 hours on the left fence looking out and all around, then she appeared to spot something and flew off calling, gone 4 minutes, back to perch and started fish-calling, chicks joined in from their lying-down position, nothing came of it.
22:00 Asha spent a few minutes pecking at sticks, she was still on the nest when darkness fell.
What an orrible shape, but it makes a change:

At daybreak Asha was on the perch. Much wingercising:

Without upseting anyone that look's to be a Salmon smolt
Body shape and silver colour ?
Is that phase in development is a Smolt, Trevor? Is it just swimming around, or heading out to sea? I guess that's from the Spey, or do fish farms have them for sport? It certainly was a whopper, and one worthy of an EJ catch!!
