All quiet on the Osprey front. Mistle started gently food soliciting, then quiet, then stood up to reveal.........
,, what appeared to be a half eaten rainbow trout! No doubt Scylla will be able to get a much sharper image than me. All this happened about 5:45. It was as stiff as a board. When was that delivered?
Afrer faffing around getting images 1 of them has come back to the nest and is incubating - can't tell which.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

The forums are on their 5th consecutive night/day of seizure. I put a msg somewhere for RSPB tech help to see - it was badly worded and I don't know if any IT people go there, so...
Mistle has had several flyabouts - at 03:30-ish she fed one of the chicks a little from leftover.
One chick's poop was transparent:
The other's was anything but, and very curly and blobby:
The sun on the lens has made it difficult to see detail.

Yes, slow again this morning scylla. I love this snap of the sun coming through at 06.10-ish, (sorry about whirly-wheel-bit) followed by a snackette fish from Axel at 06.12

From chat about #1's tantrum:
JulieD The shenanigans were a replay of yesterday, #2 started it at 09:14 then #1 sorted out #2 then threw a wobbly at mum. Quite a character!
#1 continued (her) tantrum for several minutes after having attacked Mistle's head, lunging at Mistle who merely looked down at her chick with curiosity.

Apologies for the lack of posts. I was putting my finishing touches to a post on Tiger's site........

..........relating to sausage eating Ospreys.
Fish has arrived. Good size, but #1 is attacking Mistle again in frustration.
