Just as we had hoped, the middle of May proved to be a wonderful time with three successful hatches. Laddie, with his prolific fishing skills, is providing extremely well for his family and NC0’s attentive feeding for all three Osplets, is an absolute joy to watch! Let's hope everything continues to go well.

Eh? I don't know it. Am I going to have a red face?
Here's #3 getting some supper in the first sitting:
IMAGICAT
#2 turned away from the feed after receiving many pieces along with #1
#3 was held down by its sibling for a short while...
...but up it got and moved forward to received some fish
#1 got up again to receive some more
Feed over. NC0 discarded the fish remains and moved towards the chicks
NC0 finally settled on the chicks at 22:13. She moved some of the nesting material around and tried to find a comfortable position to brood her growing chicks

22:17 Laddie came back and not only took the fish but that clump of grass too!
Evening blurred captures, unfortunately
He was back with the fish at 22:49
He left, with the fish, after spending a couple of quiet minutes on the nest with NC0
So pleased that the clump of grass has gone!

Lovely vid, Scylla. I think the short vocalisations that NC0 makes are fab!

Morning all,
At 3:48ish, NC0 was sleeping when Laddie brought the remains of last night's fish to the nest.
