Egg #2 hatching!!
11:37 33 looks on as Maya takes a break - appears there is a wide crack in the egg behind bob #1
moving on - 33 leaves and Maya returns
11:44 Crack much wider - Egg #2 is hatching
Confirmation from Rutland
Chick #1 hatched last night, 09 May @ 22:45
Definitely hatching as earlier Rutland report the crack @ 10:26
12:14 Maya rises - two bobs = Egg #2 has hatched
12:16 Feed
Maya stretches trying to feed but bob #1 facing wrong way
but soon Maya manages
Bob #1 getting nice big chunks
and more
Bob #2, who has just hatched, has yet to raise its head
12:26 Feed over
Maya starts to clean up
then gets her bobbles safely under her
13:06 Maya rises again allowing the bobs some air
13:08 Fish Time !!
13:10 Maya grabs the fish and begins to feed - Bob #1 has its beak open
plenty fish on offer :-)
Bob #2 is looking stronger now and moving about
13:21 Bobs sleeping and Maya has some fish
then she cleans up and settles down
