AX6 Axel and his lovely unringed partner Mistle are bonding well, and Mistle has been threatening to lay an egg - we await developments.
It seems that Mistle has been on the perch & nest all night:

Smiles. Indeed I have - in Henry's day when he kicked eggs out and to the side of nest. We consulted 'the guru' RD. His view was this. The core of the egg needs initially to rise to a certain temperature for development. This has certainly happened this year - it has been incubated overnight. Once this has happened how long can an egg remain uncovered before it loses its viability? The answer is not easy. It is tempaerature / weather dependant. If it is snowing the egg will cool much faster. Similarly rain will not help, nor strong winds. On a day like today my best guess would be the egg would need to be uncovered for AT LEAST an hour before I would start to get seriously concerned about its future.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Odin has brought a fish for the chicks, and spots another fish which has fallen to the outside of the nest. He retrieves it and claims it for himself. A lovely insight into the daily lives of our famous family. www.youtube.com/watch.

I remember that so well. It happened again recently. I was going to refer to it but didn't spend enough time finding out, and the moment passed. EJ was the culprit and although she tried, she was unable to retrieve the fish. Thank you WATTLE for the memory!
