Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

Glider said:Yay!! Another biggie - I could hear NC0’s dulcet tones as I was typing haha
Hahaha! I need to record her voice to use as an alarm call! lol
#3 wasn't in the best position at the beginning of the feed. #1 in front, on the left, with #2
But, after what seemed like a long while for us viewers, NC0 found its beak
#2 turned away
Feed over
NC0 tidied up and #3 received an additional piece
#3 had at least 14 bites of fish during this feeding session!
NC0 settled at 9:34ish

9:43 Laddie came to the nest, chipping/mantling/alarm calling
No threat was seen and Laddie calmed down. He headed over to collect the remaining fish. He then began to chip and mantle again
No threat seen. He flew off with the fish at 9:48ish
10:26 Laddie returned wit the tail end of fish.
Cam zoomed in
#3 was in prime position for this additional feed. It was up first. #2 (left) and #1 both had feather bling on their eyes
Laddie away as NC0 put a piece into #3's beak
NC0 tested #3's beak here (partially hidden) but it didn't accept the offer of fish
#3 and #2 had turned away from the feed
#3 moved its position - laying down behind #1
NC0 tucking the chicks in
Settled at 10:37
These were only a small selection of captures that I took. Superb feeding by NC0!
And they were doing it again at 15:40, Patily and Glider - another fish from Laddie!
L-R #2, #3, #1
Safe to say, all three chicks ate extremely well!
#3 gave up first. The older two had a few more bites each
