Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

He's such a lovable character! lol
IMAGICAT
NC0 quickly got up to collect the fish from Laddie.
Laddie then left and NC0 started preparing the fish for supper.
Laddie must’ve just had a quick fly around and came right back to watch supper being served! He started looking very closely at his chicks.
I don’t know about anybody else, but I didn’t see #3 bob get any fish?
At one point at the end of the feed, NC0 noticed little bob and leant over to feed from behind
but it was too big a stretch and she lost her balance, recovering without passing the food.
NC0 left the fish at the back of the nest, tidied up the loose scraps then snuggled on top of the bobs again. Hopefully little bob will be luckier next time.
Thanks Glider. #3 wasn't in the best position (behind its siblings) for that feed but NC0 did slip it a few bites of fish. Laddie collected the fish at 19:44 but came back with it at 19:56. #3 was in prime position for this feed!
#1 at the back, #2 on the left, #3 with fish in its beak
#3 being fed in front of #1
It did swallow this piece in its beak
Another bit
#3 ended up on its back after #2 moved forward to get some fish
It wasn't long before #3 had righted itself and was ready to receive more fish! (front left of the three)
A last piece for it before NC0 swallowed the fish tail!
Both the other two chicks received occasional bites from NC0 but they had eaten well during the first session. We all worry about the youngest getting fed so I concentrated on the little one this time I notice that #3 has two little dots on the back of its head, just like #2. Luckily, its size proved helpful in this case!

Good decision
SYAL.
Ahh, perhaps we should have told Laddie and NC0 that before the eggs were produced! lol Yes, #3's dots are slightly smaller and not as prominent.
20:40 Laddie came to the nest looking wonderful; NC0 was dozing. He quietly 'chatted' to her then left just under 2 minutes later
