Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

#1 and #2 got prime position in the front for this feed.#3 in the middle, a little behind #1 and #2. As NC0 leant forward with food, the other 2 got there first.
However, she did find some gaps in between and managed to feed #3 as well.
As the 2 older siblings were satisfied and lay down, #3 was again blocked away from NC0
keeping trying to get to the front - no gap there because of the 2 huge crops! However, #3 still has a big crop too for its size
and mum then downs the tail. Another feed lasting around 10 minutes.

Very darkly marked female!

FISH !!! !!! !!!
EDIT:
Thank you so very much, Glider, for all of your reporting today - brilliant coverage!
What a very dark female intruder and yes, she did look empty cropped. Hopefully, she caught herself a lovely fish afterwards and moved on. Great video, Scylla!
Scene at 19:55. #1 needs to tuck its bottom in!

Fish at 19:56. What an absolute corker and headless too!
Noticed blood on Laddie's right leg, hopefully it's only from the fish

It took a while for NC0 to find #3's beak but did so eventually - at least 15 times! You could hear it 'chirping' for some food
Part way through the feed, NC0 offered a piece to #1. The chick grabbed hold of it but NC0 hadn't released it and was briefly lifted up
#2 (facing the cam in the centre) was the first to stop feeding followed by #3 (on the left)
NC0 went over to brood the chicks after a tidy up
#1 turned to tuck itself under NC0
