Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

Glider said:That’ll be 4 weeks on Tuesday since the first egg was laid. You can see Laddie’s experience in bringing in more soft nesting in preparation for his chicks hatching. The nest looks super cosy. Quite a few fluffy moulted feathers still attached too.
Morning Glider. Yes, egg #1 is at 26 days today (24 and 22 days respectively for eggs #2 & #3), not much longer to wait until the first hatch!
Laddie was keen to do his 4th incubation of the day when he landed on the nest at 12:20. Some lovely contact calls.

I've just scrolled back. Laddie was on incubation at 18:15, flapped his wings, made a contact call to NC0 who was on the birch, then he left the nest. No intrusion as far as I could tell, Scylla.
Cam zoomed in on the eggs before NC0 returned.
21:57 NC0. Beautiful colours on the LS. Her white feathers stand out quite strikingly
I can't find Laddie as having returned to the nest since NC0 took over at 18:17ish
