Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

Good morning, Patily. You're welcome. That evening, after a 5 hour feast, NC0 returned to the nest, with the tail end of the fish 15 minutes after the webinar had finished. Laddie had it for breakfast the next morning. :)
And there ends the tale of a tail!
I’m halfway through watching it. I think I heard a contribution from you Sandra with the timing of the fish delivery.
The subtitles are hilarious, the translation app can’t understand the Scottish accent!
Hi Glider, yes it was me that made the contribution. I'll have to take a look at the recording with the subtitles on!
17:03 Laddie flew from the birch after being on there for quite a long time - his movements while there suggested he was eating; NC0 had been fish calling.
NC0 rose from incubation, calling and flapping her wings. Expecting a fish delivery no doubt
He flew straight past the nest and then out of cam view!
Another flap of her wings before settling to incubate again
17:25 NC0 still waiting...

18:09 Fish delivery! I couldn't tell if it was headless or not
She took her time to walk round to collect the fish
18:18 Laddie
NC0 returned at 20:12ish. I didn't see her fly in as the cam jumped from Laddie incubating to this pic where he is about to take off (behind NC0). The LS had been buffering quite a bit beforehand.
Laddie's flyaway was pixelated then the LS jumped to this of NC0
20:50 NC0 ready to begin her night shift
Oh yes, good spot about the greenery, Glider!

Intruder Series: Ospreys
Morning all,
Laddie is at present on his 3rd incubation duty since first light. No fish has been delivered as yet, Laddie has concentrated on getting the nest cosy, bringing in a mass of grasses just before 9am
NC0 decided to leave and let Laddie sort it all out
9:30
NC0 returned at 10:37
NC0 moved a twiggy stick away from the nest cup
Then settled to incubate
The 'greenery' Glider mentioned yesterday, looks like a garland around the edge of the nest
