Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

That's very kind of you to say, Glider - thanks for your great captures, fantastic wing shots among them!
Love your description of Laddie's wings, I never thought of them like that but they really do resemble sails.
I've no idea about iPads so unfortunately can't help with that. Please keep posting your pics though, as and when you can!
Great, pleased to hear that, Glider!
20:30 NC0 is still incubating

20:56 I saw a flight from the birch area and over the Loch, heading from left to right. I thought it was Laddie on his way to bringing a fish to the nest (one of his usual routes). NC0 was vocal
*Pics edited in
*Laddie had landed on the birch prior to his flight
He went high out of cam view after this
*NC0 tracked him
It wasn't long until Laddie, flying with a fish? was seen heading towards the birch. He must have completed a full circle around the nest. NC0 was vocal once again
He headed into the tree area (yellow dot) at the time but may have since moved
21:08ish Laddie flew from the *birch area* over the Loch and round out of cam view. Edit: *When re-checking, he had flown out from the lower tree, headed left then back round over the Loch (sorry!)
21:52 Laddie didn't come to the nest so hopefully, if indeed he did have a fish, he will keep hold of it overnight and deliver it early in the morning
An addition to my post above (I should have played the LS at 21:08ish a little longer!)
Laddie flew past the nest and headed back to the birch area, clearly with a fish in his talons
I lost sight of him as he headed upwards but possibly landed on the lower branches of the birch
Glider said:Lovely to have your large photos back Sandra. Mine didn’t work at the 800 setting. Must be something to do with my iPad settings? I’m not very technically minded!
OMG another smart-gadget wizard, and an i-gadget, no less - I can't possibly advise you
Your small pics are huge if clicked on - over 2k pixels wide! Super!
IMAGICAT
Morning all, Laddie delivered the headless fish to NC0 at 6:36 - it was his first visit to the nest this morning
7:00
8:00 Laddie still on incubation
Off to work. BFN
