Idris beheading a fish
Idris took off after delivering his prey to Padran 7B1
28 August cont'd
First in - the only certainty is that it was a blue-ringed osprey!
Later, Padarn defended vigorously from the nest and in the sky - but was it really an intruder, or was it her sibling? There was a lot of sky-scanning going on, I decided to let it go because at least we could see that both juvies were still with us.
After the first sky-chase:

I’ve done a scroll back for today and as far as I could see, 7B1 Padarn was the only juvenile on the nest. However……
Idris bringing in that fish
After eating and hanging around the nest area, Padarn left. The camera followed her and found another Osprey sitting on a log (Paith?) Padarn swooped down on her. (magnified)
She did a couple more flypasts then the Osprey on the log had had enough and took to the skies. She was quickly followed by Padarn, just like yesterday’s air battles.

Agreed

Indeed! I've just spent hours and hours on this, only to find you've done the main bits already, GLIDER !!! How could you?! And so well, too !!!
Now I'll have to weave in 'n out of the already-dones
She spent hours preening and being disturbed:
A lovely background for an Osprey RIP tribute - there were a lot of variations to choose from:
Goings-on out there:
New hair-do:
The 5 Magpies wouldn't line up as nicely this evening, they were all over the place!
Padarn appeared to intend to spend the night on the perch but left well before nightfall.
Great captures Glider, thank you
