All quiet on the Osprey front but all delighted to be able to watch the NEW nest on the NEW cam. Thanks to all for the hard work erecting / installing both. You derserve a sucessful breeding pair this year for your efforts.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
That is amazing news!! I'd hope it will spur Tiger into telling us the tale of what happened that year
EDIT I have just found this link to ChloeB and Tiger's site, for 2004 at Loch Garten

I haven't read it yet but am so very happy that one of EJ's offspring has been seen - thanks so much, VALIERIE

I hope I will be forgiven for self-promoting a video showing the 2004 season at LG
Many thanks for re-posting the link to Andy's wonderful video, Scylla. Happy days, a few years before my time.
It's a windy day, albeit windy

18 March 2018 - EJ returned. There was an overnight visit by a Pine Marten. And she fought off a White Tailed Eagle - both within five days of her return. Such a busy time.

All I want is Mistle and Axel to return, but somehow I think they had a nest elsewhere, and may well return to that.
Thank you, {{{Sheila}}}
Chaffinch ??? ??? ???
It's not a chaffinch, Scylla. Perhaps a stonechat?
