All quiet on the Osprey front but all delighted to be able to watch the NEW nest on the NEW cam. Thanks to all for the hard work erecting / installing both. You derserve a sucessful breeding pair this year for your efforts.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Before I crash - look what's in the bottom left corner of our cam...
YAY!
I do believe scylla is doing a little dance. She is easily pleased by the date and time. Now scylla can have a good day - hopefully other watchers too.

Love Shakespeare and Conan Doyle.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Last night I wasted 2 hours trying to find (s) a good shot of the old nest, and (b) a bird font... because I wanted to demo what we have lost - and don't scoff because I didn't find either one, so this will have to do:
Remember when the little birdies used to forage all around the nest?
I wished I'd gone up there and supervised them, with a cat o' nine tails, transporting the old nest onto the new platform
And look what happened this morning !!! !!! !!! Just a sample, I didn't have the welly to do more:
