All quiet on the Osprey front but all delighted to be able to watch the NEW nest on the NEW cam. Thanks to all for the hard work erecting / installing both. You derserve a sucessful breeding pair this year for your efforts.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

That will be up to Peter Dee, but if this season continues without desertion like last year, I'm sure he'll add it with 2022 arrival times for next season's countdown
SHEILA - I would have had to crop/sharpen/contrast the tail consumption, I was envisaging the procedures and said "sod it" to myself. One gets worn out.

Instant snap - but there's just one left on the nest now:
I don't think that Mistle brought any fish back to the nest.

She's just being demanding to make a point!! She's not hungry!!
13.45 Mistle came to land, followed by AX6/Axel who tried to land on her! It may not look like it, but it was a successful mating!
Axel flew off, and she is gently calling again

Both Axel and Mistle land 13.45pm, looked like a successful mating.

Edit, snap with Sheila.
