Well  not the  second bird wich is a Stonechat male

My thoughts on the recent IDs: First bird (21st March) I think is a meadow pipit - but it isn't the bird singing, that's something else off camera. Second bird is a female stonechat (although I did initially thing early returning whinchat with that eye-stripe)

I was thinking the same thing as the bird song doesn't match the birds in view.

Hi Korky/Trevor, I'm saying the bird in view is a meadow pipit - probably the commonest bird in that area. It's the singer I'm not sure on, it's not a willow warbler, it's also a little early for them, Siskin could be a good shout, that's another very common bird for the area, but I'm not so familiar with their song.

Interesting, Hoppy!  As I remember it (that means "unreliably"), LG has never been a great cam for lots of songbirds on the nest, but I don't remember Meadow Pipit being prominent among those that we did used to see (and others used to ID).  I shall have to study it
