5F Seren hatched at nest K, Rutland, from parents Red 08 (m) and Yellow 30 (f). Chris Wood, who volunteers at the Rutland osprey project, has been following her for at least 7 years to Tanji Marsh in the Gambia. She has been at this nest with Dylan since 2020, after suffering abandonment by bigamist Aran at Pont Croesor.
Seren returned on 26 March 2022.
Dylan is unringed, he's been breeding at this nest since 2016, when he ousted dear Dai Dot.

Seconds before this capture there were fisticuffs......started by little 'un who picked on #1, Eventually #1 went back to sleep and #3 turned his attention to #2 who was minding their own buisness preening Both older chicks then settled down but little 3 seemed to be spoiling for a fight

I saw it but couldn't break off from what I was doing to attend to it. Thanks for the report, PATILY :)))

The day opened with a black screen, don't know how long it had been like it. Then discovered that my network had gone on strike, everything had to be troubleshooted and rebooted :(((
This lovely Perch cheered me up.
Dylan was balancing it wobblibly on its tail while waiting for Seren to claim - she was so hesitant :-/
All 3 up 'n ready, #3 got itself into prime position, now they're feeding with no quarrels:
Very much alive Brown Trout:
A shocking sight when I unveiled this morning - Alyth's tin can was sitting on this nest !!! Seren has just flown away with it, thank goodness - I'll do a vid later to show history but am in a mess here at the mo. So what's new?
