2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

Fish number 4 (headless) delivered at 18:30ish
Carried off in her left talons. to the feeding perch on the birch

19:27 Laddie sitting in the beautiful, early evening sunlight. NC0 still on the birch.
19:50 NC0 left the birch and flew past the left side of the nest. She gave a short call to alert Laddie that she was on her way home
Off Laddie went
A quick adjustment of the eggs...
Before getting herself comfortable
20:19 Laddie could be seen flying across the back of the Loch, landing on a lower branch of the birch. NC0 began calling as soon as she saw him
20:25
Edit: He flew off and around the birch corner at 20:28ish
20:43ish Laddie (I assume as NC0 made no alarm calls) flew over the inlet and behind the back trees...
...landing in the one to his right in the pic
He was only the a very short time before flying off to the right again, behind the other trees
21:07 NC0 looking very cosy for the start of her night of incubation
Morning all,
Laddie relieved NC0 at 5:15ish
A little stretch of her wings
And off she went to the birch
NC0 returned with a small stick around 40 minutes later
She put it on Laddies's back
NC0 'persuaded' Laddie to get up
7:38 At present, NC0 is very restful
The cam had gone down at some point, started streaming again 34 minutes ago

12:57 NC0 has been incubating since the start of the new streaming
