2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

Sandra P said:Laddie brought the glove
So !!! I had to check, and it was specially selected, not caught up in a clump
I wonder if Laddie had plans that didn't work out? It reminds me of childhood "kitchen equipment", really just bits of wire netting or other rubbish bearing no resenblance to the supposed utensil to anyone else but me
Laddie just landed heavily in the nestcup - get outta there, it's needed by your missiz... when she turns up.
IMAGICAT
11:54 A fly past the nest from NC0 (I assume) and then must have flown around to go up to the cam post, landing with a chirp

11:57ish Laddie to the nest
He flew away at 12:05
I'm off for an hour or so. BBL
13:45 Laddie flew around and landed on the cam post
Outward to circle over the Loch
On his way back before landing above the cam (I heard the 'clunk'). He went out of view after this pic
NC0 then flew onto the nest. She had come from the birch
14:07 NC0's feather was displaced
After she turned around in the nest, it was back in place
14:12 She's flown
The wind has really picked up!
14:15 Laddie to the nest with a small stick
A minute later, NC0 with a long one! lol
14:23 NC0 nest cupping
16:25 Cam has been zoomed in (for the past 7 minutes or so) to show a closer view of NC0 on the nest
