2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

13:26 NC0 back to the nest. Laddie flew in to mate, he must have seen off the intruder.

13:40 A dive from the birch
Whoever it was flew off to the right, over the Loch and could be seen through the gaps in the trees behind the nest
13:58 It was possibly NC0 who dived from the birch, her necklace looks wet
Edit: While on the nest, she did a fair bit of preening
I remember watching her on a number of occasions last season. The first one I saw was successful and she brought her prize catch onto the nest for LR1 and LR2 - just fab to witness, Glider! :)
17:16 NC0 was not happy seeing the crow on her perch and vocally made her feelings known!
19:01 Did the movement of the cam spook NC0?
She was relaxed
Cam moved to the left...
...and quickly moved back to 'Pre-set nest view'' - she shot off the nest
Flying over the Loch
She flew around the birch corner and out of view
Oh thank goodness, NC0 back on the nest at 19:28 - quietly fish calling!
She could be seen on the birch prior to her flight
I bet the cam person is just as relieved as I am!
19:42 Headless fish delivery. NC0 was surprisingly quiet when Laddie delivered it, she didn't take it from him immediately and, when she did, waited before leaving the nest
She headed over to the birch
