2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

Raven on NC0's perch.
And I've BOPS'd Laddie's final fly-off last evening.
IMAGICAT
Early morning Chaffinch (I hope):
And Laddie just landed, he's busy sorting out the nest, I didn't see if he brought anything...
No:
There's a small smudge on the cam which prevented me from snapping him moving a clump.
He had a little flounce on NC0's perch and is now waiting:
I now see there are a number of small smudges on the lens, I hope they get swept off by the next shower.
18.30 Was that two Ospreys on Laddie's tree this evening? (zoomed)

I can't tell, GEEMEFF, but wouldn't it be orful if NC0 was back and persuading Laddie to set up on the "other" nest?!
There has been a couple of corvids on the birch this morning.
Laddie's here, nestorising enthusiastically
Lovely Laddie has worked so hard on this nest. What a great run of nice weather we have had this past week. Hopefully that should help with new arrivals, although 23 March is still early.
