    We saw an Osprey looking for fish yesterday late afternoon (22nd) at Lychett Bay, Dorset, about 3:45 pm. Watched it a good 10 or 15 minutes. It made at least half a dozen dives (sorry, lost track!) in which it changed its mind at the last moment and flew up again without touching the water. In addition it made 2 more dives during that time, actually into the water but had no success. It eventually flew off. Too far off to ID with binoculars, sadly.
