You've reminded me that I did some vids and it turns out it was 2013
This was courtesy of Simon King, I've lot touch with his streaming.
I think this was the first Red Kite vid I did - nowadays I'd have tarted it up a bit:
Wonderful video--thanks, Scylla (and to Simon King?)! We went to Gigrin Farm many years ago, and that is also a wonderful place (that's obvious when you see the video, of course!). The place near Aberystwyth which Clare and Limpy hope to visit is this one: naturalresources.wales/bwlchnantyrarian .
Edit: And here is the link for Gigrin Farm: https://www.gigrin.uk/
And here are a few more photos of the Natural Resources Wales site near Aberystwyth here: www.visitmidwales.co.uk/.../

Oops, missed your alert, MIKE. I would never have found it on rollback, it was a very brief affair.
The Osprey on the left went after it:

We did indeed go and it's highly recommended - not least for the cost. The only charge is for parking - but Blue Badge holders (like Limpy) pay nothing!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
