Just saw William's statement about the BBC interview.  That's really not only scandalous, but so tragic. You have to ask yourself 'What if...."  :-(

I always wonder 'what if'.  What if the relentless media pursuit had never happened and what if the British public hadn't lapped up so many papers which used photos and articles of her to sell their papers?  Some tabloids would make her front page even if they only had a photo of the back of her head!  Princes William and Harry both have my sincere sympathy.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • Annette - not much, don't measure just do it by eye. Like it on the sour side as custard and cream tone the sourness down.
  • dibnlib - wow that looks terrific. Well done your OH.

Annette - we are visiting 2nd June in half-term week so our dau can drive us up. OH doesn't like driving too far
    these days.
  • Certainly more revalations re Diane saga. It is such a shame that they feel betrayed by underhand tactics.
Hopefully in time they will put it behind them and maybe the main RF will understand why Harry has left these shores. Its sad when it comes to this but hopefully healing will take place in time.
  • Annette: The photos at the link you posted are powerful! Really glad you're okay. I know approximately where you live, and I thought you were far enough from the fire. But I also know that where you and AQ live, fires travel far and spread fast.

It's been raining for days here, and it's hot. We had almost no spring at all this year. In a week or two, we went from snow and cold to the heat of summer. Our temperature will be 90F--that's 32C--this weekend.

  • Lovely warm sunny autumn day, still no rain. The snowflakes are confused – they are flowering now instead of 3-4 months time. The birds are frisky.
  • Just a thought

  • Good Morning. A grey sky here but its stopped raining, for now. Yesterday was so wet, it just varied in the amount which fell from the sky at any one time. Everyone is moaning that spring has disappeared. Its supposed to be warming up this week, after being low temps for ages.

I'm off for my usual food grab in the supermarket. Everyone have a good weekend.
  • Funnily enough, Lindy, your timing of that post is pretty good.  This thread is fairly new on the Community - she's clearly a student and is studying the psychology between owners and their dogs.  I followed the link and it looks genuine.
