Clare and Limpy, congratulations to both of you and I hope the new licence arrives before your trip to Bempton Cliffs. It is always great to have something to look forward to.

Lynette, sorry to hear about your aching knees. It's very tiring having chronic pain. I can sympathise, as my knees have been troubling me lately, but we must have different problems as mine don't ache all the time, they just keep feeling as if they're crumbling. (Along with the rest of me, I suppose!! )

It became dry here & I optimistically threw stuff on the line outside, but most of it is just hanging there still damp. No wind. I'll stop with the constant references to my laundry, now.....

My OH painted the back door (We have two, as there is a porch) Now we have to keep the dog away from it until it dries, or it will be a hairy door!

Clare:  Fingers and toes crossed that Limpy gets his license before your trip.

Lynette:  It might be worth a try to do those exercises the physio gave you  The stronger our thigh muscles, the more support they provide for our creaky knees.  

Busy phone here , middle daughter has accepted the new rental, eldest daughter has resigned from her job rather suddenly and younger granddaughter and all her primary school class in Elgin have been told to isolate because of a classmate with Covid . A lot for my ageing brain to deal with all at once !

Oh heck, Heather! It never rains but it pours, as they say.

Hope everything works out for them all.

Clare did visit Bempton once a few years back but unfortunately it was the end of the season so only a few birds were there.

It's my right knee that seems to be the problem - much like my left one was before being replaced. Just have to wait and see which road to go down , injection or xray, but at least I'm on the books now even though I know it could be a very long wait. Hope you get some respite with your knees - sounds as if they are crumbling - doesn't read for a good outcome. Hope you are doing something about them. Its take me over a year to do something as I was waiting till the NHS was less chocka.
