Continued from Manton Bay – April 2021

The season so far: March 19, Blue 33(11) returned 12:29 closely followed by Maya @ 12:54. On March 30 Egg #1 was laid @ 11:45 , April 2, Egg #2 was seen @ 07:34 and on April 5 Egg #3 was laid @ 07:05 .

I have been sitting here quietly just watching these 2 gorgeous little 'uns doing a little pottering about and exploring whilst Maya tidies her feathers Suddenly 33arrived to retrieve the fish and his 2 kids hoped there would be more fish on offer However, it wasn;t to be and dad flew off with his prize Maya also took off for a little fly around Kids have now gone backto sleep and Maya is trying to cover them as best she can

Hi Patily - it was a good sized fish 33 brought in! Some captures
15:09 Maya rises - all looking very soggy
Maya shakes herself and flies off for a quick and there is bit of a tiff as #1 pecks at #2
and another peck.

33 wipes his beak as Maya makes her way round

both chicks full and Maya enjoys a good feast
chicks home alone with a portion of fish Awww! #2 wants tosnuggle up to #1 but whilst there's no aggression.#1 doesn't want that Will go back and have another peep in a mo

Today, #1 is 17 days & #2 is 15 days old.
Maya has just fed the chicks
chicks full but #2 manages another bit
both snoozing now
Maya enjoys some fish
and soon back, shielding the chicks
