HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY NEW MOON!The moon turns new on Sunday night/Monday morning in UK and US. I hope everyone has a safe, healthy week and finds some moments of joy.
Here in Indiana, everyone is walking the woods and the fields searching the ground for morel mushrooms! It's a highly anticipated rite of spring here, and the mushrooms are very tasty!

Pat, just read what you and Heather have posted. Yes, proud to be British, and proud (in the main) of our wonderful Royal family. I loved the part where Philip had requested for the buglers to sound their "action stations!" call. I should think that it was his reminder to his family to "now just get on with it!" which seemed to be a favourite saying, LOL!! I can almost see him grinning when they realise.
Nimrod is one of my favourite pieces, and there was certainly some beautiful music played. Well done to the tiny choir, too.
We walked this morning after our food shopping - I had to traverse the supermarket alone as we dare not leave Bonnie alone in the car for more than a minute, in the present climate of dog theft. On our walk there were wildflowers to greet us...
Drat, it won't post.

Bonnie, busily sniffing around and oblivious to the scenery, which is the Straits with the Caernarfon Marina on the left, and the edge of Anglesey on the right.

I stayed up past midnight to watch the funeral. Subdued but still spectacular – the Brits know how to put on a show.
