Arrival dates
Laddie 21.3.21
NC0 25.3.21
It has been great to witness Laddie (LM12) and NC0 renew their bond and also begin to make a safe and cosy nest for impending eggs. It is encouraging to watch NC0 much more comfortable in her surroundings and hope that all continues goes well for them both from here on in.

17:50 Laddie came to the nest with a partial fish. He released it from his right talons and NC0 picked it up
Off she went to eat on the birch
Laddie took over incubation and is still there at 19:10

A little after 19:25, NC0 flew from the birch and passed behind the trees
Laddie still on duty as I type
19:40 Sounded as if NC0 landed in the nest tree. Laddie looking up a short while after
20:05(ish) NC0 flew from the tree and headed towards the birch. Almost before she reached there, a couple of crows took off and she followed them around the bend
It's possibly her sitting on the left side of the birch at present
20:47 NC0 back to the nest from the birch to begin her overnight incubation.
Laddie took off and made his way towards the birch where he landed
Sandra P said:21:20 Barn owl(s) screeching, not on view
With a couple of bonus noises to compensate for any faults with owls
IMAGICAT
Looked in early on and thought a Goose was sitting on the nest. NCO is totally white

Around an hour ago, Laddie came in to relieve NC0 of incubating duties, but she never moved, he stayed for almost 5 minutes, poor thing she looked frozen to the spot.
The sun is shining now, so lets hope she thaws out soon.
