Arrival dates
Laddie 21.3.21
NC0 25.3.21
It has been great to witness Laddie (LM12) and NC0 renew their bond and also begin to make a safe and cosy nest for impending eggs. It is encouraging to watch NC0 much more comfortable in her surroundings and hope that all continues goes well for them both from here on in.

What a fracas- don't want the eggs to get damaged, what a shame all these intruders around at this and other nests, I wonder if this is the same un-ringed female from before. It certainly looks a bit like her.

Nothing as far as I could see from yesterday, Scylla. Today (already), however...!
Another visitor but this time a Great Tit on the end of the perch
Sandra I have done a video because I wanted to see if it actually was NC0 who came to the perch early this morning or not, now I am not so sure, I added a few more bits in, but its not up to Scylla's precise reporting, plus the video was getting quite long, so I stopped it and its is uploading now. I didn't pinpoint the bit when there were 3 on the nest though (sorry).
What do you think, was it NC0 as I first thought who landed on the perch first thing this morning? That intruder has a bit of gall!

Super vid, Mary!
A still capture from it...
Laddie made no reaction as she flew around then landed. Can rings be seen in pic? Yes, I do think it was NC0
Great to see that Laddie brought the fish remains back to the nest first thing, I did wonder how it had got into the nest cup!
A bit of a catch up. NC0 left her incubation qpprox. 10:52, Laddie took over. NC0 returned bringing in some nesting material @ 10:08
NC0 took over incubation, Laddie left the nest
