However, Karen, please do not push yourself too much--we do not want you to hinder your healing or further injure yourself by posting too much. We will survive without the fabulous coverage from you which we've become used to. Your health is more important.

There was a change over at 0731 . 33 took over

Maya just returned with a stick and landed on 33 He's sitting tight

Maya not too desperate to take over Standing at the rear preening

Change over at 11 23. Eggs cannot be seen due to the amount of hay!

1207-1209 lots of movement.?
1214 change over 33, settles but no chance of seeing the eggs!
This is going to be a pain!

It wasn't exactly easy last year, was it?  Or the year before, IIRC.

Change over around 1525. No view BUT at 1537 Maya returns, 33 rises and proceeds to mate on the nest rim before she settles, Two eggs only in view. The large tuft has been moved.

Maya gets up at 1738 but that dreaded clump of grass is blocking our view again!

Other than an unseen intruder around early this morning there has not been a lot happening however here are some captures I've grabbed during the day which correspond with MIKE's earlier updates.

08:44  33 fiddling with a stick annoying Maya

08:46  Hay and more hay being placed on the nest

09:12   Unseen intruder - 33 Mantling

11:18   33 was incubating and Maya returned with more hay plonking it on 33

11:23  33 flew off and as Mike reported no view of the eggs

 

15:38   Sighting of the eggs - still just two

15:38  33 flies off and Maya takes over incubating

17:39 Maya rises and no view of the eggs!!

17:48   Maya once more settles down to incubate
