With continual pestering LOL 33 has managed to move Maya off the eggs and now incubating

Hi Karen, as Jane says, good to see you back in action!

Morning all. Looks like 33 has gone to get breakfast after being removed from incubation duties about 15 mins ago. No sign of him in the bay right now

33 on the nest mantling and piping at an unseen intruder and even Maya is standing and looking around

No intruder seen. 100+ black headed gulls are very close and have already mobbed 33 earlier when he left the nest

33 getting ready to incubate but both still seem pretty wary andMaya hasn't left the nest yet

Thank you for the on-the-spot report, SANDRA-C   I've got her leaving B33 on the eggs @ 08:11 - difficult to tell, but she didn't appear to have anything so must have caught something herself PDQ - altho I do wonder about time-lag between live action and cam action.

12:02 B33 brought in a small piece of fish (so small as to be almost invisible) and Maya flew with it.
