Maya is quickly up and grabs it

and soon takes off

and 33 takes over incubating

Karen, I hope the health of your dog will let you visit Manton Bay this year. Maya is no spring chicken so seize the day--I was a bit concerned as to whether she would return this year and experience tells us that you never know. Not sure what their current rules are regarding their vehicle which visitors can hire, but if no one else needed it, I'd love for you to manage to book it, and both of you ride in style to the hides at Manton Bay! Nothing ventured, nothing gained, after all, and I'd love to see a photo of you and doggie on the thing!

Patily and Karen, my husband and I have visited the Lyndon centre and spent part of a day or parts of a few days in the Waderscrape hide several times every year, before and/or after Birdfair, beginning in 2013 until 2019 which was the last time we visited Rutland. All being well, there will be an onsite Birdfair at Rutland Water in 2022 and we'll be there. Can't wait to see the Osps there in person again. This summer, all being well, we hope to have a holiday in Wales and visit at least 3 Osprey centres, fingers crossed!

Thanks ANN - interesting about being able to hire a vehicle, will keep all this in mind.  

I do hope the Birdfair returns next year and you attend for I know how much you love it. Also, lets keep our fingers crossed all goes well and you have your holiday in Wales seeing the ospreys. And of course, I look forward to hearing about your travels :-)

It seems that Rutland have got power back. The LS is showing the correct time/date etc and seems to be working normally.
