Mar 19: Maya returned @ 12:54
Mar 30: Egg #1 laid @ 11:45

There was a change over at 03.22 am (still 3 eggs) 33(11) took over incubation duties, and is still there at 05.56 am.

Looks like it is just going to be "three" this year which is fine and I always think is actually enough for them.to raise. I suppose Maya is getting older too but the main thing is that all goes well and the chicks are healthy. :-)
Karen I was watching that little episode, it really looks like 33(11) is checking up on Maya to see if she has laid a 4th egg, it was so funny, he just about had his head underneath her looking ha ha.... I am uploading a video of it now, what a pair they are. The very fact Maya got up to let him see then settled back down again makes me think she was saying "look 33, there is still just 3"
I don't know about them but I'm very happy with "just" three - a bit less stressful for us.
