March thread.
This post updated 01 June
MrsG returned on the 25th of March and was joined by Aran on the 29th.
(The beginning of the reunion video is a must-see for all fans of MrsG - I'm posting it today 01 June, to remind us of a happy time before the tragedies of May 2021.)
The month of May brought unrelenting wind, rain and corvids, as well as persistent intruder KS8 (among others) - and Aran somehow injured his right wing, rendering him unable to fish. Within a few days all the chicks had sickened and died. It could hardly have been more stressful for MrsG and Aran, but they are recovering together while the caring Glaslyn team is supplying fish each night.
(The chicks' bodies have been removed from the nest by Aran and MrsG, so we shall never know the cause of their deaths.)
In the right margin of this page are links to Glaslyn's posts documenting the misfortunes on the nest.

I wish I'd looked here first - I've just worked it out as "19:50-ish" but am useless at rollback calcs, pity SANDRA wasn't covering it, she's brill.
Anyway, this is the fly-off from rollback:
.
MrsG hasn't been seen all day.
31 August
If Aran is still here, he's late coming to the nest this morning
The cam just had a quick pan around, didn't find anyone.
Comments on Chat about the valley feeling empty.
The mini-flock of Mistle Thrushes was back just now:

Morning Scylla, I took the same video, it's a bit sad when cam-op pans round to show the surroundings and empty nest. Happy travels to both of them! I also noted the time as 19.40 but oh, how nice would it be if everyone with a livestream used a clock. Sooo much easier than noting the scroll-back deficit, looking at current time, then working out the event time. My old brain cells are dying off quite rapidly and this doesn't help

A heartfelt ditto from me!
31 August - and who do we see, at last? (Mind you, I have been engaged with other cams for a while, I'll check when he was first spotted):
EDIT - First spotted unfocused @ 10:50, resolved a few minutes later.
Cam went down - it looked like an encoder problem again, here's the new URL.
EDIT - apparently it was a power cut and it was before noon, so I've been very slow - but Aran is still in the same place.
EDIT 2 - Had to change the new URL, as there was another power cut!
