Hallo all. Look back at Saturday for some lovely flower pix from Lindybird and more!
Beautiful pink blossom, Annette. We wiped down the garden furniture which was cobwebby, and I cut back a late flowering honeysuckle which is climbing some trellis on the house and threatening to collapse as its so vigorous. My OH went shopping for canes to grow his beans plants up and along.
You can just see some tiny blue flowers lining the path under the apple tree: not sure what they are but they're as vivid as forget me nots which come later!
Close up:
Annette: That pink tree is stunning. Those look like cherry blossoms to me. However, I can't identify the trees in my own region, let alone the vegetation in California. But that sure is a beautiful photo. By the way, you asked me the other day if I had been vaccinated yet. I have an appointment on April 9 (for Moderna).
Lindy: I enjoyed all of your lovely flowers!!! You all are lucky to have such gorgeous colors already.
It's turned very cold again on my patch. We can't seem to kick winter's **** here.
This is the day upon which we are reminded of what we are on the other three hundred and sixty-four. [Mark Twain]
Here cometh April again, and as far as I can see the world hath more fools in it than ever. [Charles Lamb]
Believe nothing, and trust no one this April Fools’ Day. . . So it’s just like any other day.
LINDY I thought you might like this pic. I turned to April in my calendar and this is what I got.
