Hallo all. Look back at Saturday for some lovely flower pix from Lindybird and more!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BJANE!!!
Thanks for the reminder, OG!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OG (TOMORROW)!!!
Good grief: I've lost the plot - again! Typed a post and didn't hit Reply. I've had issues with the computer since Windows updated: Pages are freezing after a few minutes and I have to actively refresh the screen, except it doesn't happen quickly and then I go to the Bookmark, which is quicker. All a bit odd. Will have to keep an eye out....
Anyway, I'd like to piggy back on others' posts and wish OG and bjane the best for their birthdays.
Diane: How do you get such big font? I've tried to do that when I end/start a thread, but it always ends up looking puny compared to yours.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BJANE and OG for whatever day. (Too difficult this morn to work out which day is whom where.)
Annette: To answer your question about the big font:
(1) Click on "Use Rich Formatting."
(2) In the box, type your text and drag the mouse over it to highlight it.
(3) Click on the little arrow beside "Normal" in order to open the menu. Click on "Larger" to increase the size of the text to the maximum.
(4) Click on "Format" to open the menu. Click on "Bold" to make the larger text even more prominent.
(5) Click on the underlined "A" to choose the text color.
(6) Click on "Default Font" to choose the font style, for example Comic Sans.
That's all I do. I suspect that mine looks different from yours only because I click on Bold in the Format menu after I enlarge the text.
Diane: That is weird because it's exactly what I do. This is my LARGE, which doesn't look too much smaller than yours. (It's in Helvetica). But I like typing in color. :-)
Annette: Yup. Looks the same. I like the brighter colors, too. :-)
Nice to see you, bjane!
Food shopping was crazy this morn. Easter break is only 4 days and the shops are open most days anyway. I’m sure all the Ancients blundering around the aisles were not collecting supplies to go camping in the far outback! Apart from parts of QLD & NSW there are no lockdowns. One man put his veggies in my trolley and when I said “that’s mine”, his wife lectured him! Another oldie backed out in car park, did a backward turn and then angrily waved me to drive the “other way”!!! I was glad to get home.
Just a thought
