Been busy, one way and another. Love new potatatoes... mmmnnn....

Roast beef cooking in the oven for tonight. My OH not sure whether to indulge in a glass of red wine with it, as he has had a rough stomach for several days but says "I'll get over it". I've been under strict instructions not to tell his sisters or anyone else about it. I do wonder if he has an ulcer or something, sometimes. His second jab went well, but he has a very sore arm again today, as last time. We are hearing from lots of friends and relatives that they are very busy in our town and well up to speed with giving out the vaccinations. We're lucky to have such good medics around here.

Same here, LINDY. Exceptionally good and efficient service. Hope your OH will feel better soon, if not, you must turn into a bully :-)

OG: So very sorry to hear about your dear friend. It is such a hard thing to lose friends I have lost 4 friends in the last year. 2 were expected and 2 were unexpected. I also lost my older sister last April. We have been unable to have a memorial service yet. I miss them all.

Thank you, BJANE. How good of you to think of us. Sorry to read that you have had a sad year losing friends, and especially your sister. I think we shall have a memorial service at church for those who have not been able to have a normal funeral during Lockdown, whether taken from us by Covid or anything else. I hope that spring has arrived where you are, always a season bringing hope...

Ah, I see that there have been more posts. Bjane, I'm so sorry to hear of your losses, especially your dear sister. My sincere condolences.
