She is a bonnie female. The markings on the back of her head are quite distinctive

He has had various attempts at mating today. Most showed signs of inexperience and nonchalance from female but as the day has progressed she seems to have been a little more receptive with a bit of bonding, Hopefully he’s gone fishing for her now

Well despite his failed attempts at mating and dropping on her from a great height just now, she has stuck around all day so I am keeping my fingers crossed for them.

Sound or no sound she is fish calling

I agree. The behaviour suggests that the incessant calling = she can see him. Hopefully he has a fish and is now eating the head before he hands it over.

Fish delivery 18.18 or thereabouts. She takes it successfully though there seemed to be a bit of a tussle.

This is wonderful to see! A lovely big fish for her.

She is chowing down on the nest, he is there, too.
