Have had the pleasure of watching ospreys fish from open holds at the fishery nr Aviemore

Yes Pity about the sound I’m just so glad I can see the nest again, actions speak louder than.. well . Calls?.. maybe not so much in osprey terms though

Seeing an osprey on the nest just now. Its a female and shes yelling for fish.

Male just arrived in nest center, fishless, mantling. And he took off.

He was nestorizing. She was not impressed.

Think he has got enough decor for nest meantime. It’s teatime .. she is fish calling

He has worked hard on bringing in twigs, sticks and lichen this afternoon. Not sure she is impressed, perhaps a fish might settle the matter.

Another stick is brought in, and then he flew off

and brought in another one!  Lots of nestorising going on.

I have a feeling that if we had sound, she would be deafening.
No mating success on that try! Looked more like a kerfuffle!
