LLYN BRENIG, LLYN CLYWEDOG WELSH OSPREY PROJECTS CAPTURES & UPDATES MARCH 2021 TO END FEB 2022

The news item on BBC Wales has been updated, and the muddle over various ring numbers has been deleted.  It's the same link as before.

My biggest worry is if these morons are determined to rid the area of ospreys then what may have happened to 24 and her mate?
I still remember the 3 ospreys that'disappeared' in the Rutland area.

jUST READ ON FB about the aweful crime committed at Llyn Brenig. Thoughts are with all the team as they and the police try and get to the bottom of what, why, , and how it happened. Do hope that they will take to the new platform and decoy egg and start laying again. Wishing all the best for a happy outcome!!

ALAN I have been thinking along similar lines and remembering the male birds that mysteriously disappeared from Rutland

The destruction of the nest has been mentioned on the BBC News this morning.

A despicable act, and criminal as they are a protected species.

Ems, at Dyfi, has reported that both birds were around last night and appeared to be defending their territory from an intruding Osprey.
