MANTON BAY - MARCH 2021

  • Should have tamed it on the nest! Wonder if 33 has gone to get another one.
  • I've just scrolled back to look at the fish delivery. LOL. I think 33's face tells it all!

  • I hope you had a good first shift, Sandra, despite the 'procedures'. This new camera really does give beautiful defnition. I don't think I remember with Maya or 33 looking so beautiful before! Or perhaps it is my new specs LOL!

  • Such a shame Maya lost that huge fish 33 brought her earlier.   Thanks for the captures/updates Catlady, Alison & Sheila.

Noted!  That was going to be my next task but now I shan't dupe you, KAREN Smile

Here are selected "highlights" from the morning, after the early fish and up to noon - finishing on a high note with a fulfilled mating after a couple of duds:

  • After losing her fish earlier, at 17:34  Maya, with a full crop, returned to the nest with a fish which 33 took and flew off with (I never saw the delivery)

Video:  Maya returns with fish @ 17:34 and 33 flies off

NIce to know they have both eaten.

    Off now - BFN

I can't find a delivery, KAREN.  I wonder... as we didn't see Maya drop the fish (it was a stick that went over, I think) did she find it later?

  • Thanks for looking SCYLLA - seems strange. Could very well be as you say or perhaps Maya caught one herself, ate and returned to the nest???
  • Watching the vid it looked like May went off with the fish and a stick also went overboard. It could be that she lost her grip on the fish as she left the nest out of shot. Just a thought.

Thanks for the vid, great to see them back.
