Arrival dates 2020LM12 (Laddie) unringed – 21st March at 15:33 NC0(16) blue ring, left leg – 28th March at c12:00 (More here)
Although they didn’t use the webcam nest last year, Laddie and new female, NC0, successfully raised one chick within the vicinity of the Loch. Blog hereHoping that both have a safe migration back to Lowes, and delight us with their presence on cam this season.

Laddie remained on the nest until 18:18(ish). He took a beautiful flight over the Loch (behind the back trees)

He'd been hanging onto it for quite a while, Cirrus. At least she took it after the third time of asking.

It was strange a few minutes before as I'd heard flapping and a landing but he wasn't on screen. I think he must have been sitting on a branch of the nestcam tree as, on his arrival, he almost jumped onto the nest
I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this!

Laddie Sky dancing this morning while NC0 on the nest, several EMN sessions took place, both still on the nest at the moment.
