Arrival dates 2020LM12 (Laddie) unringed – 21st March at 15:33 NC0(16) blue ring, left leg – 28th March at c12:00 (More here)
Although they didn’t use the webcam nest last year, Laddie and new female, NC0, successfully raised one chick within the vicinity of the Loch. Blog hereHoping that both have a safe migration back to Lowes, and delight us with their presence on cam this season.

Just to show in real time how narrowly she missed that fine fish:
I also meant to put a caption on saying it was looking hopeful that NC0 is starting to "possess" this nest.
This morning - no nest visits overnight, up to a couple of minutes ago.

Windy morning! Laddie flew in and waited expectantly, floatily mantled in the wind and NC0 landed...
I hear mating chirps...
Here's the video - I couldn't hear skydancing clearly enough to work on it, I think it must have been blown away.
Looking even gooder, with another mating after Laddie brought in a stick!
Morning Scylla - Yes it was a good start
Laddie appeared on the nest at 06.06 am
Followed by NC0 a minute later
and next thing mating - by the looks of the tail it was a good one
NC0 still on the nest at 06.54 and has been food calling off and on
