Although they didn’t use the webcam nest last year, Laddie and new female, NC0, successfully raised one chick within the vicinity of the Loch. Blog hereHoping that both have a safe migration back to Lowes, and delight us with their presence on cam this season.

patily said:No sign of NCO Hope she;s having a lie in and is not on the other nest
That's exactly what I'm worried about and I'm in the depths of depression now, after such a high yesterday
I'm packing up now, please let there be good news when I return.
IMAGICAT
I see Laddie was on the nest 20 minutes ago. No sign of NC0 though.
As I mentioned @ 07.07 am this morning, I could hear Sky Dancing, I am hoping that it wasn't Laddie with a fish and he took it to the other nest for NC0, if so I think that will be the end of her coming to this nest.
Of course there are so many scenarios, and as we cannot see what is happening off screen it is hard to actually know what is going on, Laddie could have been Sky Dancing with no fish, I just wonder what would happen if another female passing by was attracted by Laddie's Sky Dancing and she arrived on this nest, what would happen then. The plot thickens!
I thought in one of the blogs they mentioned a trail type cam on the other nest, but cannot find it in any of the recent blogs. They did mention they were installing security camera's for 24 hour protection. Will search again though.
EDIT: This was all I found about the Cam on the other nest, I think it just means that it has cam's that allows protection for the birds, but don't think we will see anything of it on line. Maybe they will be able to take SS's to include in their blogs.

cheer up Scylla here's a birthday pressie for you early
Well after my big long post who turns up but NC0 - Laddie was Sky Dancing, then he delivered a fish, but looks like he hasn't handed it over.
Looks like he came back to nest fishless so has he handed it over at other nest! who knows. He flew off, then came back again, did a bit of house work, and is still on the nest now looking around.
Kind regards, Ann
Birdies LG DU update.
