Many thanks to all for the pics, posts and vids of Aran's arrival and subsequent nest activity. Have you ever seen Mrs G so excited? It was such a wonderful reaction!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Continuing the day till bedtime - mainly occupied by Aran trying to take MrsG's fish and failing, but she let him have it once and he gave it back, much to his later regret
MrG stayed on the perch with her fish for hours and hours:
I lost ?? minutes during a stop/restart - no, there seemed to be something wrong with the cam, flickering between black screen and picture.
On resumption Aran was on the nest but he disappeared in a blackage - or a purplage, actually:
MrsG dropped her fish:
Dawn mist - and who goes there?
Aha! MrsG flew in when Aran arrived:
Heehee, this is my egregious setting for nighttime:
Good Morning All
That's a sightfor sore eyes Wasn't able to look in yesterday so didn't know Aran had returned Good news indeed
Corvidsin finevoice this morning.....and some geese, in the background

I hope you feel even better tomorrow, PATILY
Plenty of togetherness in the morning:
Aran's crop-drop:
MrsG spied a threat - she had been standing on the fence looking beautiful, as in MARY's snap the other day:
She gave chase and Heather searched the sky but I couldn't see anyone:
Aran flew in for a failed mating:
Not an awful lot left for MrsG, but Aran must still have been hungry (the handover on the nest was unclear):
Full tummy?
Not quite - he got the fish back for polishing off:
Just now:
The above is not comprehensive but some random snaps thru the day.
