Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I've never learned about male/female starlings, I shall google them later - thanks CATLADY!
In summer the beak is yellow for both, but the base of the male lower beak is blue, and tghe female is pale. The beak is dark for both in winter. Also in summer the female may have a few pale spots on the underparts. In winter they are both white speckled.

This helicopter flew behind the hill you can see bottom rightish:
This sheep was munching for ages down to the right of the nest:
Looks more like a Jet fighter than a helicopter
