I think this was a MistleThrush - it's taken ages for the penny to drop, it looked so big at the time. No idea re the flitters-by:
IMAGICAT
Greenfinch was singing behind the wind - this has been audioly treated, I'll have you know:
Meant to slomo the fly-off for the sake of the wings, but in any case I see it was only 3-4 frames so it would have looked like stills.
Jackdaw (I hope!) for a few seconds:
More nest material departs:
You're getting good at this ID lark now Scylla
Ooh, no ospreys but a lovely glossy Raven in the afternoon:
Up to 20:00-ish.
06:37 Wood Pigeon stopped by - twice in short order, it was also on the perch:
Forgot what time this was - it was one of several corv visits:
Early evening, Stock Dove:

As you know, I don't like to post about "nothing happened" - but in view of the time of year I'll say that it was a very uneventful day, maybe moreso than I've ever seen before...
Except for the flies!
I checked how to contact BoPH to query whether there might be something in the nest material encouraging them, but lost my nerve - I know how "they" resent us watchers being busy-bodies, yet I would hate some misfortune to befall any osplets, having read how "black flies" (not these flies, I'm sure) have been killing chicks in nests.
Early this morning this Wood Pigeon dropped onto the nest after some rattling on the campost - funny thing was, the rattling went on, so someone else must have been up there too:
That's all up to 09:00.
If you're wondering who's been shifting sticks - it was this guy, and he also beaked up the soft nest material:
Checked up to 20:30.
