That's a head-spinner at any time of the day, let alone this
But it's right up my street!
18 July
No-one on the nest all day
Evening, lots of Nightjar, no time for vid, not that it matters here:
IMAGICAT
19 July
The cam went down for a few minutes around 00:40.
Another Nightjar visit before dawn.
05:05 - campost landing.
CJ7 landed:
She soon flew, returned and did some nestorising and flew - maybe up to the campost that tiem, heard someone up there later:
No-one then seen (apart from a percher too tiny to snap) until the late evening, when the Nightjars put on a more interesting display than usual:
.
And no-one seen since then up to 15:30 today 20th. Our loving couple must be at the seaside.
No ospreys seen up to (dang, forgot the time) about 09:30 this morning.
Overnight, just to show we're following ;)
Still not finding any ospreys
Spider spinning web (we haven't had a beginning-to-end for a long time):
Here's a little birdie from 07:00 this morning, it was very dark and it was right on the left edge. I thought Sskin, but...
17:55 - 2 minutes later s/he flew over our left shoulder:
That was it to just before 22:00.
