Poole Harbour Osprey Project 2021 Season

No-one seen up to 06:05 this morning.  It sounds windy but the nest doesn't appear to be being buffeted - all the more disappointing that I cannot detect any familiar cambumps.

Looking out my bedroom window looking towards the nest area at the moment and its a much better day

Our lad is on the nest. I've just stopped the download to access it, fingers crossed no pertinent action while it processes.

After slight pottering and waiting, he flew off and back.  I worked on the sound because he was chirping occasionally but the wind was loud and the chirps weedy and I think I've only managed to distort it  

EDIT - Now that I've listened to more of it (instead of scrolling, when I get no sound) can I hear someone's feet on the campost?)

I can't see that anyone has been since.

09.40 a big fishy arrived with 022. I’m told it’s a bass.

Ooh thank you, ALISON - I've been doing other nests, it's crazy trying to keep up with them all!

Someone is definitely scrabbling on the campost.

(I've been sidetracked here, so am delayed getting 022 with his fish.)

He's still there with half of it, as I type

CJ7 has been on the cam pole with her own fish this morning, so that's her scrabbling.

Technical error - I had set it on "fast recompress" so this is au naturel rather than tarted up a bit like I usually do.

Evening - two matings, one on the nest and another on the campost (who knows how often someone's up there, especially when it's too windy to detect cambumps?):
